Update!

It's been four weeks since Jack has been in our lives!
Obviously we'd like to post more often and keep this blog more updated, so that is our goal for the future! Ideally we'd like to have daily updates or at least a few a week.  Over the past month, we've been pretty busy adjusting to life with Baby Jack!

Jack has been doing really well! We have learned that we have a very strong baby! During first week he would kick his bassinet so hard that the whole pack 'n play would shake. Within the first two weeks during tummy time he was almost rolling over already! He had both legs in the air and one arm - it was like he was trying to do baby push up.  Colin and I lovingly refer to him as Baby Hulk, because he goes from calm to screaming in three seconds flat and turns bright red (and kicks and slaps). "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."  LOL luckily he have figured him out so when this happens he stops as quickly as he began.

Over the past month, we've figured out feeding, burping, baby gas and constipation, acid reflux, and how to protect ourselves from Jack's pee when changing him (he loves surprising Mom and Dad).  Jack now knows how to grab items, likes being read to and makes eye contact. Jack is a thin, long baby. All of his newborn pants are like capri's length wise but are the right width. So we bought him a bunch of 0-3 month sleepers (footie jammies) and he's almost grown out of those too! When we were at the Dr. last week, Jack weighed 10lb 4oz (with clothes on). We have his 1 month checkup soon, so I'm interested to hear what his stats are because he definitely had a growth spurt lately.

Here are some pics of Jack:
